TEXT: Matthew 5:9 KJVS
[9] Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Peace is an atmosphere for progress and unity amongst any people group. You cannot promote harmony in any relationship except peace becomes your watchword. The cardinal mission of Jesus on earth is to bring peace to the troubled world.
John 14:27 KJVS
[27] Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Fear, unrest, uncertainty, and suspicion characterize every environment that is lacking peace. Sufficient to know that peace is elusive in our days than to add stresses to people’s lives. Do not be an agent of trouble to cause more harm in any relationship.
There are people who take pleasure in fomenting trouble because of selfish pleasure and gain. It is only an agent of the devil that finds satisfaction in bringing rift, schism, and variance wherever he belongs. Jesus said blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. Anyone who incites breakdown of relationship amongst others is not qualified to be called a child of God, according to our foundational text.
James 3:14-18 KJVS
[14] But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
[15] This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
[16] For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
[17] But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
[18] And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
Every war is caused by malicious spoken words and spiteful looks. That’s why the scriptures recommend the control of your tongue. He who does not offend in words is adjudged to be perfect in conduct (James 3:2).
An ambassador of peace does not only ensure peace but makes it happen everywhere he finds himself. He promotes peace with every fiber of resources within his disposal. He does not specialize or rejoice in hate speech. There are some who just enjoy destructive gists about others, and their space becomes a centre of destruction. Please avoid such people for your next level not to be hindered.
Romans 16:17 KJVS
[17] Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
2 Timothy 2:23 KJVS
[23] But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
Go a step ahead of doing more than promoting peace—make peace happen. Surrender your rights if need be to allow peace to reign. When you sow peace, your life too will bring forth peace in abundance.
Shalom.
