Acts of Faith 4

TEXT: Luke 17:5-6 KJVS
[5] And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
[6] And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

The beauty of your faith walk lies in putting your knowledge, beliefs and trust in place – relying on His words. Situation responds to impregnable words from the spirit realm, therefore prayer is also an active force in making your faith to work.

The disciples prayed that Jesus should increase their faith but Jesus told them that the size is not really a big deal but the command given to it. Looking critically at what Jesus said, small faith in big God would produce result.

However, prayer is a meaningful way of generating power with God. Especially when you learn to return God’s word to Him in place of prayers. The command given to uproot sycamore tree would not be lame but potent and powerful enough to accomplish the task with God. Prayer of faith shifts you to spiritual realm and your words then active.

Job 22:27-28 KJVS
[27] Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
[28] Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

You reign in life with your decrees and not your degrees! Your decrees must not be empty but made powerful by backed up forces: prayers and vows (promise offerings). When you pray about your desires and exercising your faith, let your seed faith too add strength to your declarations. Prayer means absolute trust and dependence on God.

Job 38:12-13 KJVS
[12] Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
[13] That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

When we put our trust in the goodness of God it means that we are not relying on our works – or even the strength of our faith – to sustain us. Instead, we are relying 100% on the Grace of God and in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Maintain a spirit filled atmosphere by prayers to make your positive confessions and declarations productive. Season of empty words and declarations are gone. Your words will begin to wield power over situations now.

Congratulations!
