TEXT: Romans 12:3 KJVS
[3] For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
At new birth, every believer has the same measure of faith apportioned by God equally to us. That’s a good news to me when I studied it yesterday. God is not partial in His gifting but the value each placed on it makes a whole lot of the difference. The starter pack is the same but the level of engagement is different.
Faith grows according to what you do with it. I mentioned yesterday that Faith is not passive but active. The man with one talent in the parable Jesus told buried it and did not grow (Mt.25:25). This is exactly what happens to us when we refused to use our faith for what is God’s will and promises for us. Many had always waited on others to use their faith to get things for them but that has to change now, get your own faith to work too.
Habakkuk 2:4 KJVS
[4] Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY HIS FAITH!
The responsibility to increase your faith is yours and not God. The measure of faith can be increased as you stretches it to receive from the Lord.
Faith increases as you do these revelations I will bring your way:
1. Feed your faith with the word of God.
The raw material of faith is God’s word not experience of others. Faith grows by hearing God’s word in your spirit and not just your head.
Matthew 4:4 KJVS
[4] But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Jesus simply clarified that no believer can live well without eating the word of God which is faith food just like he can’t live without bread which is natural food. God’s word to you will build assurance, confidence and faith in your heart.
God comes to us differently with His specific words, but we tend to do that word using other people’s approach or ignore it due to lack of faith. Lack of faith will always result to lack of fund. You will not act adequately on your faith until you live by what proceeded from His mouth for you. Some of us will have to go back to what God said previously to generate the faith required to bring it to pass. Your word has not expired until its purpose is accomplished.
Isaiah 55:10-11 KJVS
[10] For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
[11] So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
See that word, it’s really getting interesting in my spirit.
Let me give you assignment as we work this word of Faith: go back to your heart and notebooks and pull out words He had told you before. Write them down and check how you have fared in those words. You will discover some that were never expressed because you didn’t build your faith to accomplish them or yet for an appointed time. Let’s start the journey to build your faith to recover your words!
Faith is your construction tool in the kingdom.
